Introducing the leaders of Oregon Church Mobilization, Junior and Tricia Childers. The Childers have been credentialed ministers with the Assemblies of God and Oregon Ministry Network since 2004 and are nationally appointed missionaries.
Junior and Tricia re-started the Oregon Church Mobilization ministry in 2018 and are passionate not only for quality construction work, but care deeply about the pastors and communities in the areas where they serve.
Prior to 2018, they served several small churches as lead pastors, so they know first hand what challenges pastors face. In addition, Junior has professional construction experience as a general contractor, which makes him uniquely qualified to lead this ministry. He is recognized as a leader at the national level.
What is Church Mobilization?
Church Mobilization is the coordination of teams of volunteers to assist in the maintenance and upgrade of properties owned by the Assemblies of God. The volunteers are made up of people of various skill sets and all are welcome. The reduction in labor costs make upgrading our churches and other facilities more affordable. The gathering of the community around the churches fosters fellowship and encouragement to the pastors, their congregations and the volunteers alike. And we like to have a lot of fun!
